Nobuyuki Matsuhisa
Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa; born March 10, 1949 is a celebrity chef and restaurateur known for his fusion cuisine blending traditional Japanese dishes with South American (Peruvian and Argentine) ingredients. His signature dish is black cod in miso.
Nobu was born in Saitama, Japan. When he was six years old, his father died in a traffic accident and he and his two older brothers were raised by his mother. After graduating from high school, he worked at the restaurant Matsue Sushi in Shinjuku, Tokyo for seven years, and was invited by a regular customer who was a Peruvian entrepreneur of Japanese descent to open a Japanese restaurant in Peru.

Claus Meyer
Claus Meyer was born on 27 December 1963 in Nykøbing-Falster (South of Zealand). He graduated from Nykøbing-Falster Cathedral School in 1983 and after a year as an au pair in France he went to Copenhagen where he completed cand.merc international (BLC/Sprøk) specialising in business start-up and business development.
For more than 20 years, Claus Meyer has been pointing out shortcomings and possibilities within the Danish food culture. Through food policy business, lectures, participation in the public food debate and his TV-programmes and cookbooks he has tried to show the way to a higher quality of food and meals.

Franck Pontais
Franck Pontais is a chef traiteur, Charcutier and Butcher who really enjoys sharing his passion with the catering industry and the retail sector, as well as teaching in culinary schools and demonstrating for different corporations.
In his Persuit to continue learning and advance his skills further Frank worked for Harrods and Selfridges in variouse culinery roles, most notably at Selfridges where he launched the Traiteur Department in Manchester, Frank is also well known from the BBC Ready Steady Cook Programe. Most recently Franck won Iron Chef UK in December 2010. Franck also demonstrated cookery using Singapore Food Products in 2010 at Paris.

Nigel Brown
Nigel Brown was born in Bridlington, East Yorkshire on 25th June 1966, the youngest son of parents who have spent a lifetime in the Hotel and Catering industry. It is not surprising then, that Nigel, having grown up in this environment, should follow in their footsteps. From his teenage years Nigel spent much of his time "learning the ropes" at their family restaurant, then known as "The Four Winds", a sizeable conference and banqueting centre near Driffield, East Yorkshire. His formal catering training started when at 16 he spent 2 years at Hull College, 2 at Scarborough and a year each at Grimsby and Beverley College.
Nigel has regularly appeared on BBC Radio Humberside's morning show giving hints, tips and recipe advice. During his career he's worked at some of the UK's biggest and busiest hotels and competed in many national competitions including the London Hotelympia Salon Culinaire competitions and also won a place in the Forte's Chef of the Year competition.

Ian Matfin
Ian Matfin was born in Newcastle and learned basic cookery skills at an early age from his mum and gran. He started his cooking career at the city’s Country House Hotel and didn’t look back, going on to cook at the only Michelin-starred restaurant in the north-east at the time, Newcastle’s 21 Queen Street. From there Ian worked at a number of prestigious London restaurants including Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s and Aubergine and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons.

Kumud Gandhi
After a career in the commercial world, Kumud Gandhi went on to pursue her life-long ambition of working with food by re-training in food science. She now runs a very successful Cooking Academy and catering company The Saffron House. Often called upon to provide expert comment for national print media, radio and television, Kumud is a natural broadcaster and her work is widely published throughout the country. She offers a unique insight into the diverse world of cooking and a very grounded understanding of the nutritional and medicinal value of foods.
In April 2009, stunning canapés created by Kumud debuted in a sophisticated cocktail party scene on our TV screens alongside actors Ray Winston and Parminder Nagra in the compelling ITV drama “Compulsion”. Kumud has also worked closely with Fashion TV and recently catered for the launch of “The World’s Most Expensive Suit”. She is currently leading Britain’s Biggest Curry Party, a campaign to raise awareness for the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer.
