Avec Eric Ripert


Avec Eric Ripert(born 1965 in Antibes) is a French chef, renowned for his seafood dishes.[1] His flagship restaurant, Le Bernardin, located in New York City, is ranked among the best restaurants in the world,[2] and holds the maximum rating of four stars from the New York Times and three Michelin stars. Chef Eric Ripert has been strongly influenced by two cuisines—the cuisine of Antibes, France, where he was born, and of Andorra, a small country just over the Spanish border, where he moved to as a child. His family instilled their innate passion for food in him at a young age, and it was that passion that sent him down the path of culinary experience.

Anthony Sedlak


Anthony L. Sedlak is a Canadian chef, and the host of Food Network Canada's The Main. He was born in Prince George, British Columbia and grew up in North Vancouver. At age 13, Sedlak began bussing at the Grouse Mountain cafeteria. He was soon promoted to the resort's main kitchen at 14, where he worked as production cook for what was then Bar 98. By 16 he was working at the Grouse Nest restaurant (now The Observatory). During this time he completed the Culinary Art Program at Carson Graham Secondary School in North Vancouver, followed by a four-year apprenticeship program at Vancouver Community College.

Following the advice of Sylvain Cuerrier, the executive chef for Grouse Mountain, 20-year-old Sedlak joined the team at La Trompette restaurant in west London where he worked under Chef Olivier Couillaud. With the experience and knowledge gained at La Trompette Sedlak returned to Grouse Mountain Resorts where he was offered the position of sous-chef at The Observatory.

Aarón Sanchez


Aarón Sanchez (born February 12, 1976) is a noted, second-generation Latino chef in New York City, the executive chef and owner of the restaurants Centrico and Paladar. He has appeared on Iron Chef America, and is one of the few chefs whose battles have ended in a draw, tying with Masaharu Morimoto in "Battle Black Bass" in Season 2. He was a contestant on The Next Iron Chef, eliminated in the sixth test, "Creativity Under Pressure". He currently appears on the show Chefs vs. City with Chris Cosentino, and is a recurring guest judge on the show Chopped on Food Network.

Art Smith


A native of Jasper, Florida, Art Smith studied at the Florida State University School of Business. He began his career with two internships at The Greenbrier Resort and was then selected to attend the prestigious Walt Disney Magic Kingdom College Program.

Following graduation, Art took a position working at the Florida Governor’s Mansion where he worked as executive chef for Governor Bob Graham, now a U.S. senator, and his wife Adele. He continued to cook for families all over the globe, including other well-known politicians and celebrities.

Aldo Zilli


Aldo Zilli (born 26 January 1956) is an Italian-born celebrity chef who specialises in Italian cuisine. One of nine children, he was born in the small seaside town of Alba Adriatica in the central Italian region of Abruzzo. He has been a resident of the UK since moving to England in 1976.

He has appeared on television in One Man and His Hob, Good Food Live as well as in the third series of Celebrity Fit Club, in which he lost 15.5 kilos (2 stone 6 pounds), and impressed the panel so much they made him team captain replacing Julie Goodyear. His team won the series. He owns various restaurants around London, all with Zilli in their title.

Alain Ducasse


Alain Ducasse (born 13 September 1956) is a Monégasque chef. He formerly held French nationality. He operates a number of restaurants including Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester which holds three stars (the top ranking) in the Michelin Guide.

Ducasse was born in Orthez, but educated on a farm in Castel-Sarrazin in southwestern France. In 1972, when he was sixteen, Ducasse began an apprenticeship at the Pavillon Landais restaurant in Soustons and at the Bordeaux hotel school. After this apprenticeship, he began work at Michel Guérard’s restaurant in Eugénie-les-Bains while also working for Gaston Lenôtre during the summer months. In 1977, Ducasse started working as an assistant at Moulin de Mougins under legendary chef Roger Vergé, creator of Cuisine du Soleil, and learned the Provençal cooking methods for which he was later known.

Anna Olson


Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Anna Olson moved to Toronto, Ontario with her family when she was six. Anna has fond memories of yearly trips from Toronto to New York State, Pennsylvania and Ohio to visit her grandparents, aunts and uncles, traveling through Niagara's fruit belt and the orchards bordering the route. The family would regularly make stops at farmer's fruit stands to pick up fresh goodies for the relatives.

Antony Worrall Thompson


Born in 1951 in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Antony Worrall Thompson’s passage to culinary stardom has not exactly been smooth. Antony’s story very nearly came to an abrupt halt at the age of sixteen when his face was crushed in an horrific rugby accident, which left him badly disfigured. But pioneering surgery saved the day, enabling Antony to pursue what was to become the enduring love of his life – cooking.

Anthony Bourdain


Anthony Bourdain is a celebrity chef, world traveler, bestselling author, and host of The Travel Channel's Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Born in 1956, Anthony Bourdain attended Vassar College and graduated from the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America. He began running New York kitchens at restaurants such as Supper Club, One Fifth Avenue, and Sullivan’s. His extensive body of work has graced the pages of The Times, New York Times, Observer, the Face, and Scotland on Sunday. He is an ongoing contributor and authority for Food Arts magazine. Tony currently lives in Manhattan and works as executive chef of Brasserie Les Halles.
